Every year in Costa Rica crime increases, in the news we can see how many violent deeds happen and always are more than ten. It’s alarming and nobody does anything. What is going to happen if we continue this way?
The government thinks that having more police officers is the option to solve this problem it is good but is not the solution because there are in the streets much corruption and a lot of officers are part of business.
Costa Rica needs to chance some laws; they have to be strong with out compassion against criminals.
Example:
The men who kill to Joyse David Pineda Montero Tuesday night in Los Laureles, in Rincón Grande de Pavas, attacked him while he was playing soccer.
In the failed assault three men participated in a black and blue car and one of the men was who shot David Pineda.
People who were present stopped one of the suspects from escaping from the crime scene and when we came “they had beaten him”, said Hannia Cubillo police officer.
Friends of Pineda took him in a car to the firefighter station in Pavas.
In conclusion I think that Costa Rica is more secure than other countries but we are in the wrong way and the government is not doing anything drastic to stop it. The criminals have to be stopped and put in jail.
