To spank or not to spank

Spanking is a good way to educate children but there are other ways to do it.
To spank could be good to educate our children but it has limits. People in the last century practiced it with their kids and there were no laws to protect them, now there are laws.
However, there are many cases everyday of hurt kids by their parents that hit them when they lose control creating a violent environment and not teaching what is bad or good.
People should begin to talk with their kids instead of hitting them, they are human and they understand if we explain clear but we have to change our culture.

Dr. Heart

Hi, doctor I wrote this letter because I have a big problem and I don`t know what to do and I hope you can give me a good advice.
There is a woman that I know since we were children, she is my friend but my whole life I have been in love with her, and I have never had the courage to tell her.
The problem is that if I tell her, she is not going to continue looking at me the same way, maybe she won`t want to talk with me anymore.
Dr. I need your help, I will wait for your answer. Thank you!

Answer
Hi friend, you told me that you know this girl since you were child and she is your friend, you should tell her what you feel.
I know that she is going to understand!

Difficult Decision

I had a difficult decision 6 years ago when I had to decide to leave my mother alone to come to San josé to study and live with my father.
My mother is the person I love the most in my life. I have lived with her my whole life until I was 16 years old that´s why it was so difficult to decide to come here, but I had to do it, because I wanted to study.
The day I came I really was so sad and my mother too, but she told me that it didn´t matter where I was she would always love me and I will never forget those words.

Original Story

This is the story of a boy who was born in Cieneguita, Limón next to the beach.
Every morning this boy went to the beach to swin until the day he grew up and became the best swimmer in that town.
All his friends said that he was like a fish because he always was in the water and started to call him fishman.
One day his mother told him that they had to leave Limón to go to San José for a living and he told his mother that he did not want to leave the beach because he was happy there. His mother told: "Yes I know, but we have to go, I have to work".
The boy was very sad and told his mother that he would never leave Limón; that he prefered to get into the water and never come back to land.
It was true the boy never came back to land, the last person who saw him said that he was swimming on the beach. Many people looked for him but he never appeared.

The impact of tourism on the environment in Costa Rica

Our country is one of the best places for tourists to come and enjoy the natural beauty. A tropical country is what makes us very special, with many beaches, volcanoes and forests.
In 2010 was a good year for the tourism in Costa Rica, it increased in 5% in comparison to 2009, it means that it is the most important activity for the economy of Costa Rica.
Tourism has many impacts, but what I like is that it helps Costa Rica to organize a women´s FIFA World Cup for 2014

Language Skills

I think that a way to improve our language skills in English is speaking. When people speak more and more, they get more fluency and confidence in themselves. Reading is also important for a good pronunciation and to have good language skills.
Some people who know English don´t like to speak for many reasons. One reason could be that they have fear to make mistakes. Another reason could be the environment they are in. When a person who knows English is with people who don´t speak this language is going to be difficult to improve their skills.

Extreme Sports

Motorcycle Freestyle is the most exiting extreme sport. It´s something different that not everybody can do, riders are considered crazy because they do the tricks 10 meters on the air with a motorcycle of 80 kilos of weight. When I was in my town I tried to do it with some friend but it´s really difficult and I think that I´m not so crazy to do it.

Crime in Costa Rica

Every year in Costa Rica crime increases, in the news we can see how many violent deeds happen and always are more than ten. It’s alarming and nobody does anything. What is going to happen if we continue this way?
The government thinks that having more police officers is the option to solve this problem it is good but is not the solution because there are in the streets much corruption and a lot of officers are part of business.
Costa Rica needs to chance some laws; they have to be strong with out compassion against criminals.
Example:
The men who kill to Joyse David Pineda Montero Tuesday night in Los Laureles, in Rincón Grande de Pavas, attacked him while he was playing soccer.
In the failed assault three men participated in a black and blue car and one of the men was who shot David Pineda.
People who were present stopped one of the suspects from escaping from the crime scene and when we came “they had beaten him”, said Hannia Cubillo police officer.
Friends of Pineda took him in a car to the firefighter station in Pavas.
In conclusion I think that Costa Rica is more secure than other countries but we are in the wrong way and the government is not doing anything drastic to stop it. The criminals have to be stopped and put in jail.

Gollo annouced is interesting and funny.

It is about two men that bought a t.v, one of them bought it in Gollo store and the other in other store. The man who didn`t go to Gollo had to pay much money than the man who went there. When the boy realized of the situation He got crazy.

But I see a good message that is good for the people, sometimes we spend a lot of money, because we don´t look for good prices. We should do it and we´ll save money.

Apology Letter

To: Ms Castro

I wrote this letter to apologize for my absence in the Sello Verde you gave to the students last week. I heard that it was so profitable for the people who listen to your message, but sometimes you have to do things that you can´t stop doing it, I work in my own bussiness and in the Sello Verde´s day I had to be in my job instead of my father who was in Puerto Limón.

I´m going to find all the information about the speech. It sounds so interesting.
